CVGT Australia expands employment services into the Murray Riverina
CVGT Australia is set to expand to the Murray Riverina after winning a new contract to provide employment services to unemployed people in the region.
Under the five-year contract, CVGT Australia will deliver the new jobactive program that will assist eligible job seekers to find and keep a job and ensure employers are receiving candidates that meet their business needs.
CVGT Australia CEO Paul Green said the company was delighted with securing the contract which will commence on July 1.
“CVGT Australia has been delivering employment services for more than 30 years and we are excited to have won the tender.
“For employment services, we have been successful in winning business in three states, expanding our employment services program from Victoria only.
“We will be operating from 17 new locations in the Murray Riverina area including Griffith, Wagga Wagga, Deniliquin, Leeton, Cootamundra, Corowa, Narrandera, Tocumwal & Tumut. Our outreach service will cover Balranald, Finley, Gundagai, Hay, Hillston, Holbrook, Temora, Tumbarumba. We will also be opening 10 locations in North and North West Tasmania and will continue to deliver employment services in the Goulburn Murray region from 19 locations.
“Our Work for the Dole program in the Goulburn Valley will be expanded to include the Goulburn Murray region and will be delivered from 12 locations and the new Wimmera Mallee program will operate from 13 locations.
“This is an exciting time of change for our company. We will be employing 18 full-time staff in the Murray Riverina area,” Mr Green said.
The current Job Services Australia contract will expire June 30 and commence jobactive from July 1.
