CVGT and Eworks join forces for the future
- Our primary focus is a commitment to supporting employees.
- The Department of Jobs and Small Business has approved the principles of this merger.
- Jobseekers and Employers will have an increase in service and support as a result of this merger.
Eworks Employment Solutions Incorporated (Eworks) and CVGT Australia Limited (CVGT) are excited to announce a merger of the two organisations, effective immediately.
CVGT and Eworks are positioned in the employment services industry, with over 55 years of combined success and have offered employment services to Victorian, Tasmanian and New South Wales communities throughout this time.
Glenn Stewart, Eworks Committee of Management President said that Eworks and CVGT are perfectly aligned and share similar backgrounds, common values, principles and ethics of caring for the disabled and disadvantaged in society.
“This partnership represents numerous and positive opportunities and will ensure that Eworks continues to achieve its mission of supporting the unemployed and people with a disability within our community.”
The government employment contracts, currently held by Eworks, have been approved by the Department of Jobs and Small Business to continue with CVGT. This will see the combined organisation consolidating its footprint within the jobactive and ParentsNext government employment programs. Further to this, the existing professional recruitment, labor hire and human resource consultancy service provision will continue to be offered across all service delivery locations.
Glenn explained that Eworks staff will continue to deliver to communities the same high level of customer focused service as part of this combined operation and that location branding will progressively change to reflect the CVGT name. The current Eworks Recruitment Solutions brand will remain active.
CVGT Chairman, Graham Fountain, said that the primary focus for the CVGT Board and Eworks Committee of Management was a commitment to supporting employees and that this partnership would create significant opportunities for the employees of both CVGT and Eworks, as well as the communities in which they operate.
“The consolidation of the ParentsNext and jobactive regions, combined with the recruitment solutions service means that all employees will have an opportunity for further career advancement, comprehensive training and access to a larger management support network.”
CVGT and Eworks will have over 140 locations throughout Tasmania, Victoria and New South Wales, Graham said it is exciting to be able to offer that type of scale to all employees.
Beyond that, it’s the jobseekers and employers that will be the real winners from the merger Graham commented. Saying that under the merger, jobseekers and employers will have an increase in service and support due to a strengthened service delivery model that will provide more comprehensive outcomes and support levels for clients.
“CVGT’s focus has always been to deliver economic and social benefit to the communities that we are involved in and this merger will do just that.”
With key merger terms having been decided, both organisations are currently preparing for an integration that will minimise the impact on jobseekers, clients, employees and their families.
“We look forward to continuing to deliver the fantastic service and support that both Eworks and CVGT are doing in the community. We will continue to communicate with all those involved about any changes or updates”.
