Toys bring joy at Christmas

Thanks to community support hundreds of donated toys will bring some welcome cheer to children and their families this Christmas.

The overwhelming positive response for the ParentsNext-hosted toy drive exceeded expectations, with dozens of people and local businesses dropping off gifts at our offices across Victoria.

Toys included books, teddy bears, games, swing sets and scooters, with CVGT also purchasing many more at a discounted rate from some of our employer partners, such as QBD Books Melton, Get Posh, Toy Networx, and gift card donations from Kmart and Collins Booksellers.

Our ParentsNext team has spent the past days sorting the toys into gift bags and distributing them to families. About 40 bags of toys were also donated to Eastern Domestic Violence Service.

Team members were excited to see the smiles on faces – big and small. Thank you to everyone for supporting our community event.
