That’s a wrap – Melbourne Disability Expo 2022

Our CVGT Employment Melbourne team attended the Melbourne Disability Expo last week, 25–26 November 2022.  

What was on offer

The Melbourne Convention Centre was a hive of activity with attendees from across Australia attending to explore a wide range of services and products on offer.  

Attendees were inspired by informative and interactive presentations delivered by industry experts.  

Visitors also enjoyed all-abilities adult and children’s entertainment, including the All-Ability Dance by Diakmos Dance Academy as well as an inclusive and interactive dance workshop – from Macarena to hip- hop.  

Live stream

Stage presentations were live streamed for those who couldn’t attend, a great feature to ensure inclusion for all people living with disability.  Check out the recap video below.

Our Melbourne crew thoroughly enjoyed engaging with potential participants, like- minded businesses and service providers.

I loved it. It was such a great opportunity to meet with organisations assisting people with disability and discussing how we can assist them.

Engaging with potential participants

In the lead up to the event CVGT Employment encouraged people living with disability to come along and say ‘hi’ – hoping to reach out to those wanting to find meaningful employment.  

It was also fantastic getting to speak with potential participants first-hand about us and how we may be different to what they have experienced with another DES provider.
