Covid-19: Regional Victoria lockdown update

Lockdown will end tonight across regional Victoria, except for the Greater Shepparton area.

Effective from 11.59pm, the five reasons to leave the home will be removed, except for Greater Shepparton.

Let’s hope our colleagues, partners and participants in Shepparton are able to share some of the new freedoms in the very near future.

There will be no limit on the distance regional Victorians can travel from home – other than restrictions on entry to metropolitan Melbourne.

The Authorised Worker list will no longer apply in the regions. This means employees in regional Victoria no longer need to complete the authorised worker permit.
