COVID-19 update – Victoria changes
Victoria’s lockdown will end at midnight tonight. From tomorrow, the following changes apply:
- The five reasons for leaving home will be lifted
- Workers may return to the office, but should continue to work from home, if possible
- Masks are mandatory in all settings outside the home, and must be worn in an office
- All offices must continue to mandate the QR code check-in process, for employees and visitors for any amount of time
- Schools reopen
In Victoria, the temporary suspension of mutual obligation requirements remains in place until Tuesday 3 August inclusive. However, in line with state legislation our doors will re-open to the public tomorrow.
In New South Wales, tighter lockdown restrictions are in force for Greater Sydney and the local government areas of City of Wagga Wagga, Hay Shire Council, Lockhart Shire Council and Murrumbidgee Council. These areas are no longer included in the cross-border bubble of Victoria and New South Wales. For a live list of zones, see this map.
