CVGT Australia selected to participate in Transition to Work service
CVGT Australia is about to expand employment services after being selected to deliver the new Transition to Work service in the Goulburn Murray region.
Under the four-year contract, CVGT Australia will deliver the new Transition to Work service that will help young people move into work or continue their education.
CVGT Australia CEO Paul Green said the company was delighted with securing the contract which will commence in March.
“CVGT Australia has been delivering employment services for more than 30 years and we are excited to have won the tender.
“Transition to Work is an exciting new service set to commence in the Goulburn Murray in March.
“We will deliver the service from five locations including Shepparton, Seymour, Cobram, Echuca and Kyabram.
Transition to Work will help young people become work-ready to gain and retain employment (including apprenticeships and traineeships) or continue their education.
Participants will work closely with CVGT Australia’s Transition to Work team, who will deliver education, support and advice to participants to ensure they achieve their employment goals.
“CVGT has always offered a tailored, individual approach to servicing clients in our other programs and we look forward to providing a vibrant, innovative and responsive service to the young people in the Goulburn Murray region.
“This is an exciting time for our company. We will be employing five staff to deliver the service in the Goulburn Murray,” Mr Green added.
Transition to Work is part of the Australian Government’s Youth Employment Strategy, announced in the 2015-16 Budget and forms part of a range of Government services to help young people get into work.
