People with intellectual or developmental disability need customised support.
Our Specialist Disability Employment Team (SDET) offer dedicated, intensive and customised support for participants who have an intellectual or developmental disability.
How does SDET Work?
If Eligible, you will be registered and assigned an Employment Mentor!
We take the time to get to know you, your support network and start to develop a plan to work towards achieving your employment goals.
Soon after, you will meet with one of our Employment Inclusion Coordinators who then begins to negotiate a customised role suited to your skills, interests and location.
Once the right job is identified, we provide on-the-job support to assist you with settling in and learning the tasks required. We also ensure your workplace is disability confident and inclusive.
Ongoing support will and can be provided for as long as you have a job. The amount and frequency of support is determined by you and your employer’s needs.

They help us to enrich the lives of our participants and make their world a little brighter!
