First Nations Jobs Fair
5 October, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm AEDT
FreeJoin us at the First Nations Jobs Fair hosted by Banyule, Darebin and Whittlesea City Councils
The First Nations Jobs Fair will bring together all under one roof, a broad range of culturally-safe employment, education and training opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members in the north east of Melbourne.
There will be live vacancies to apply for on the day in different industries, including office administration, manufacturing, engineering, construction, traffic management, cabinet making, cleaning, and much more.
Lots of public transport options, free parking available on site, and barbeque lunch provided. Plus a live broadcast by 3KND radio!
If you already have a resume, great! Bring it along on the day to help you apply for jobs on the spot.
If you’d like some support preparing your resume, then one of our Jobs Victoria Advocates can offer you a free one-on-one session to help you prepare for the event, and you can also chat with them on the day for help in applying for jobs and training.
The Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people are the Traditional Custodians of the land this event is being held on, and Banyule, Darebin and Whittlesea Councils pay respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, past, present and emerging, who have resided in the area and have been an integral part of the region’s history.
