Help build the 2026 Commonwealth Games

Be part of a Games like no other, in a career you wouldn’t trade.

The Victorian Government aims to generate social and economic legacies in regional Victoria through its investment in the 2026 Commonwealth Games competition venues and athlete villages, including employment outcomes for a wide range of regional Victorians.

Development Victoria has established a list of regional Group Training Organisations and employment suppliers to support contractors to recruit, train and employ regional people to help build these exciting regional projects.

Development Victoria has appointed CVGT Employment to its List of Group Training Organisations to support contractors working on Games projects in Bendigo and Ballarat.

This is a great acknowledgement for us, and we are wasting no time in securing expressions of interest from as many people as possible for the vast range of employment opportunities on offer.

Government’s procurement policies for major construction projects require contractors to commit to creating more gender inclusive workplaces and to provide opportunities for Victorians with disabilities, disadvantaged Victorians, and Victorian Aboriginal people. Contractors will also be required to create local and regional jobs, which will include new apprenticeships and traineeships for regional people.

The Commonwealth Games 2026 is being touted as “A Games like no other, in a place like no other”. Get involved and complete our Expression of Interest form now, and we will be in contact with you to discuss the next steps.
