Kick start 2018 with an exciting apprenticeship opportunity

CVGT Australia is delighted to announce the 2018 CVGT Australian Apprentice Scholarship program is now open.

This year, CVGT have partnered with local air conditioning company McCaig Air Conditioning to offer a plumbing apprenticeship.

CVGT Australia Deputy CEO John Lynch said the company is looking for applications from people who want to begin a pathway to trade excellence with the support of their host employer and the scholarship.

“The CVGT Australian Apprenticeship Scholarship program has been running since 2008 and has provided a pathway to trade excellence in a range of occupations across Victoria.

“As a CVGT scholarship recipient, the successful applicant will complete a four-year apprenticeship and be employed through CVGTs Group Training program. They will be offered additional professional development opportunities, tools, equipment, training, mentoring and support to become a fully qualified plumber.

“Their on-the-job training will be delivered by McCaig Air Conditioning and include working with experienced plumbers on domestic and commercial sites in the installation and maintenance of all types of air conditioning and mechanical systems.

“They will learn their trade from the best in the industry and develop skills to maintain and service air conditioning plant and equipment, Mr Lynch said.
