October is Mental Health Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness and promoting understanding about mental health issues.
This year’s theme is Let’s Talk About It
This year’s theme ‘Let’s Talk About It,’ highlights the importance of connecting with others whether it be family, friends or community, it is important to create these connections to support one’s wellbeing. Engaging in these conversations about mental health and sharing lived experiences can improve psychological wellbeing and overall wellness. That’s why through collective unity and compassion, we can create an environment that helps individuals feel empowered to openly discuss mental health, find reassurance and seek support.
