Important update
Starting 1 November 2024, Parent Pathways will replace the current ParentsNext program. This new voluntary service offers personalised support, job readiness assistance, training opportunities, and connections to specialist services. From 16 September, current ParentsNext participants will be invited by the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) to consent to join Parent Pathways.
During the transition period 16 September to 31 October, we cannot accept new participants. However, CVGT Employment is here to support you during this transition and ensure you have the resources needed to achieve your goals as part of the ParentsNext program until 31 October.

Supporting parents to achieve their goals
Your life is unique, and we understand life can be a juggle with family. The ParentsNext program can support you to create and achieve your education, training, and employment goals.
After taking time off to raise children, getting back into study or work can be a daunting step. ParentsNext helps you decide how you want to do it, and we’ll support you along the way.
How can ParentsNext help you?
Together we work with you to understand your individual circumstances and develop a practical and supportive approach to address and overcome barriers that may prevent you from achieving your goals.
You will be assigned a dedicated ParentsNext coach to support you. Working together you can:

Engagement Support vouchers are available to you
When you engage with the ParentsNext program, CVGT Employment can now offer Engagement Support vouchers following attendance at face-to-face appointments.
The Engagement Support vouchers are designed to assist with the rising cost of fuel, groceries, and clothing.
During your appointment, we will discuss your personal preferences and the type of vouchers that will offer the greatest benefit to you.
Initial Engagement Support – $100 voucher
Offered to new participants who commence in the program after attending an initial face-to-face appointment.
Ongoing Engagement Support – $50 voucher
Offered to existing participants in the program who attend ongoing face-to-face appointments.
Up to $250 in Engagement Support vouchers are available per participant.

Silva’s rise from ParentsNext participant to manager
