Victoria: lockdown ends, branch offices reopen
CVGT branch offices in Victoria will reopen tomorrow (Thursday 18 February 2020) for job seekers and participants who have opted in for face-to-face servicing. This follows the end to the state’s five-day lockdown.
Please note, mutual obligations remain suspended in Victoria until February 22.
Our priority is to protect the wellbeing of our staff and customers, and make sure you continue to feel supported. When visiting us, these government requirements must be followed:
- Masks remain mandatory indoors, unless there is a lawful excuse
- Maintain physical distancing at 1.5m, where possible
Visitors to all CVGT sites must continue to use either the state government-provided QR code services or manual registration to help with COVID-19 contact tracing. Hand sanitisers are at entry points, so please continue to use them.
As always, please continue to be patient with each other. If you need additional support while looking for work, let us know. We can provide access to skills training, work preparation activities and referral to support services, such as mental health, if required.
Our branch offices are also open in Tasmania and New South Wales. We will continue to keep you updated. For the latest on coronavirus updates in your state visit:
